Community Choir has a new leader |
|
Adamsdown Arts Assocaition (A3)’s Adams-up festival three years ago, saw the founding of the Adamsdown Community Choir, under the tutelage of Ruth Bradshaw, a local choir leader. Ruth has now decided to hand over the reins to another talented Adamsdown resident Sian Donovan, who has been awarded the position after a series of auditions. Sian says “I am thrilled, it’s going to be very exciting!” If you have ever thought about joining a choir or just love to sing now is a great time to join! The choir is small and friendly and will be working on new material, new members are always made very welcome. Currently funded by the Arts Council of Wales, choir practice is every Tuesday 6:30 to 7:30pm at the Resource Centre, 10G Moira Terrace. The group is open to all residents from Adamsdown, Splott, Tremorfa and Plasnewydd. Find us on Facebook - to find out more search ‘Adamsdown Community Choir’. |
