Book launch - real women's stories |

Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group (WSSAG), launched their book “Seeking Sanctuary: Journeys of Despair and Hope” on the Glanfa Stage of the Wales Millennium Centre on Tuesday 19th April 2011. The book is a collection of real life stories of women who have braved all sort of persecutions and human rights abuse and who have come to the UK to seek sanctuary and try to rebuild their lives. The group - a lobbying, advocacy and research group working with refugee women and their families - meets at the Adamsdown Resource Centre on Moira Terrace twice a month, and have produced the book in partnership with Cardiff’s Ethnic Minority Communities First team.
