The Youth Action Group campaigns for more resources and support for young people in Adamsdown as well as organising activities and events in the area.

Past activities include; the Adamsdown Festival, creating graffiti walls in local parks, various arts and crafts based workshops and working with young people to design play facilities in Cemetery Park and Howard Gardens.

The group has worked closely with young people, service providers and local volunteers to  the Monday night youth hub (which includes DJing and MC workshops as well as break dance classes) and monthly under 18's club nights.

In April/May 2009 a group of young people attended a catering course organised in partnership with UWIC's First CAmpus (Colchester Avenue) which culminated with a meal served to parents and friends.

Future plans for the youth action group include organising more sporting activites in the area, campaigning for more youth facilities and eventually establishing a Youth Forum.
